# Prevention & Education

## Training and Educational Materials

In its commitment to creating an environment where every student can join an organization without being impacted by hazing, the University offers prevention and educational resources across several areas. Training programs, learning guides, and information on hazing are offered to students, faculty, and staff at all schools. A few of the educational materials are linked below:

## Student organizations

Student organization leaders are at the forefront of helping with hazing prevention and education. Student leaders attest every year to understanding laws surrounding hazing and the repercussions for violating the law. Further, student organizations are given firsthand training on building teams ethically, with behaviors that are not considered hazing. Student groups are also provided training on active bystander intervention.
